Based on your feedback from years past we're extending the days we go to the MN State Fair! Not only that, but we are providing service to the Renaissance Festival for the first time this year and in celebration of that, we and offering you a BOGO deal so that you can go to both events with SouthWest Transit!

Not sure which day(s) you're going to the fair(s)? Our ride tickets do not specify a date or time so you can use them anytime that works best in your schedule!

MN State Fair Service

Renaissance Festival Service

• Weekends (Saturdays & Sundays) August 17 – September 29 and Festival Friday, September 27

*Reminder! When you purchase a ride, you are not purchasing for a specific a day and time, you can use your ticket whenever it's convenient for you during our service to the fairs! Please note, because you can use your tickets for any day and time, prepaid fares will not be refunded if the fairs are closed for any reason.

Discount Days:**

MN State Fair Senior Day Rides: August 26 and August 29 (these are the same Senior Discount days as the Fair)

• Seniors: $3 

MN State Fair Military Day Rides: August 27 (this is the same Senior Discount day as the Fair)

• All military, active and retired with proper ID: $3
• Disabled veterans with proper ID : Free

RenFest Military Day Rides: September 15

• All military, active and retired with proper ID: $3
• Disabled veterans with proper ID: Free

**Discount Day fares are available at the stations when paying with cash or with credit card. Senior Day and Military Day discounts cannot be combined with the Buy One, Get One (BOGO) deal or any other SouthWest Transit discount offers. 

Ways to buy a Ride Ticket:

In Advance

• Download the Token Transit App for ios or Android and follow the instruction (Activate your pass only when ready to board the shuttle (bus), please show your pass upon boarding)

On-site during the fair service

• Ride tickets can be purchased onsite during the fair service with cash (exact change) or credit card

Please note, Go-To Cards are not accepted for special event shuttle fares
